Table has been very weak-tight.2.Originally I just wanted to hit a set or a straight when limping with this hand. (argue with my limping with craps if you wnat to).3. I've been playing with SB for quite a while, and SB was a decent player in this level. But he also knows that I wasn't the chasing type of player because I've shown down with good hands without chasing.4. His preflop raise screamed AA, since I had position I decided to outplay him.5. On the flop I took a long time before I called him (just like once I did when I flopped the set and slowplayed it and it went to showdown).6. On the turn I picked up str8 + flush draws, again I paused a long time.7. When the river doesn't look harmful I knew I could bluff the hell out of his AA.The moral of the story? When you have a decent stack but OOP you better think twice of potting your stack away.I am sorry I am bragging, but it feels damn good.

The only problem I have with this, is that a draw didn't hit, meaning you would have been slowplaying something better than whatever he was betting. I guess that fits your description of the situation, but I don't know what he's been betting the whole way that he is going to c/f the river with, unless he's betting draws over aggressively.I'm no PLO expert however.- Zach

The river bluff is pretty fishy for the reason mentioned by Zach666. Unless you've seen this particular opponent check-fold in this type of situation before, [or if he's seen you play 2 pair in this way], I just can't see this being a worthwhile play.I don't mind raising the turn on a semi-bluff, however, although there is the risk that he has AA with a nut diamond draw and will call you and you will not have enough left to make him fold the river.All in all, nice hand. It worked this time, but it's not something you'll want to do too often.

When I thought about it it was a pretty bad play on my part, any smarter player who even had nothing could easily came over the top if our stacks were deeper, or at least made an easy call. Or he's betting aggressively with good draws with 40+ points hands. I was drinking and trying to have some fun bullying the lower limit tables. Thanks for the comments.

I think you played it fine.He'd really have to be a uniquely tricky player to be check-raising KK or check-calling AA here.This is a good example of why being out position sucks so much. good luck.
