IronMule 0
Ok, I will be the first to admit I am not maximizing my opportunities to win at NL holdem. I think I should have re-raised the turn but I don't understand how my opponent did not lose all of his money here. Any advice would be great.PokerStars Game #4513154949: Hold'em No Limit ($0.25/$0.50) - 2006/04/03 - 22:03:28 (ET)Table 'Kreusa IV' 9-max Seat #7 is the buttonSeat 1: X__victor__X ($67 in chips) Seat 2: AJKHoosier1 ($78.30 in chips) Seat 3: djbubba ($69.65 in chips) Seat 4: H-BOMB151 ($47 in chips) Seat 5: Faux_Pr0 ($46 in chips) Seat 6: Sh0oTa68 ($31.90 in chips) Seat 7: Mysticdream7 ($102.40 in chips) Seat 8: diannamac ($47.60 in chips) Seat 9: atlpinkpony ($60.15 in chips) diannamac: posts small blind $0.25atlpinkpony: posts big blind $0.50*** HOLE CARDS ***Dealt to atlpinkpony [3c 3d]X__victor__X: folds AJKHoosier1: folds djbubba: folds H-BOMB151: folds Faux_Pr0: folds Sh0oTa68: folds Mysticdream7: folds diannamac: calls $0.25atlpinkpony: checks *** FLOP *** [3s 8h 2s]diannamac: bets $1.50atlpinkpony: calls $1.50*** TURN *** [3s 8h 2s] [Qd]diannamac: bets $1.50atlpinkpony: calls $1.50*** RIVER *** [3s 8h 2s Qd] [3h]diannamac: bets $3atlpinkpony: raises $7 to $10diannamac: calls $7*** SHOW DOWN ***atlpinkpony: shows [3c 3d] (four of a kind, Threes)diannamac: shows [2c 2h] (a full house, Deuces full of Threes)atlpinkpony collected $25.70 from pot*** SUMMARY ***Total pot $27 | Rake $1.30 Board [3s 8h 2s Qd 3h]Seat 1: X__victor__X folded before Flop (didn't bet)Seat 2: AJKHoosier1 folded before Flop (didn't bet)Seat 3: djbubba folded before Flop (didn't bet)Seat 4: H-BOMB151 folded before Flop (didn't bet)Seat 5: Faux_Pr0 folded before Flop (didn't bet)Seat 6: Sh0oTa68 folded before Flop (didn't bet)Seat 7: Mysticdream7 (button) folded before Flop (didn't bet)Seat 8: diannamac (small blind) showed [2c 2h] and lost with a full house, Deuces full of ThreesSeat 9: atlpinkpony (big blind) showed [3c 3d] and won ($25.70) with four of a kind, Threes
TB17 0
The NL strategy forum is downnnnnnnnnnnn the street. downnnnnn the streetChances are this guy hit something since he's in the bb and the flop is low. So raise the flop and the turn. Or either. And the guy didnt lose all his money because he is a donkey.
Canary3 1
I would have raised the turn .... and dang .... It seems like with low stakes like this that your opponent would have re raised you on the river
CobaltBlue 662
Uhh...if you raised the turn, you would've had all of your opponent's money. And, there's a strat forum. Use it.
Jdr999 0
If you raised on the flop instead of calling, all the $ would go in.Any why slowplay with 2 spades on the flop?
SunDrop 0
Simple answer...he's the type of player who doesn't like to go all in in an NL cash game without the nuts.

BNH77 0
Slow playing sets on the flop is usually the least effective way to play them.. too many cards can come on the turn that will kill your action... No need to get cute, raise and re-raise and all the money would have went in on the flop. You slow played ur hand to death and ur opponent didnt bite on the river.
pckt10s 0
maybe if you put him to a decision for all his money, you might have gotten it...
