Ok, I will be the first to admit I am not maximizing my opportunities to win at NL holdem. I think I should have re-raised the turn but I don't understand how my opponent did not lose all of his money here. The NL strategy forum is downnnnnnnnnnnn the street. downnnnnn the streetChances are this guy hit something since he's in the bb and the flop is low. So raise the flop and the turn. Or either. And the guy didnt lose all his money because he is a donkey.

I would have raised the turn .... and dang .... It seems like with low stakes like this that your opponent would have re raised you on the river

Uhh...if you raised the turn, you would've had all of your opponent's money. And, there's a strat forum. Use it.

Slow playing sets on the flop is usually the least effective way to play them.. too many cards can come on the turn that will kill your action... No need to get cute, raise and re-raise and all the money would have went in on the flop. You slow played ur hand to death and ur opponent didnt bite on the river.
