Party Poker Hold'em (3 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx
Preflop: Hero is BB with [2d], [Ad].
1 fold, SB raises, Hero calls.
Flop: (4 SB) [Td], [As], [8d] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero raises.
Raise my flush draw or slow play my crappy ace? SB is new but seems okish.

Let him bluff.
There is no good reason to raise here.

I agree, I was just checking up.
Is there no merit to raising to define my hand (ie finding out if my hand is good w/ out improvemant)?

Not really. You're seeing sd anyway.
The only reason to raise here would be for value. You clearly have a ton of value, but you don't really want to scare your opponent away. IF he's passiveish, and will call down with a gutshot draw, go ahead and raise the flop. Against most opponents, it's better to let them keep bluffing when they're drawing so slim.
