I thought about a stop n go instead of 3-betting the flop. would that have been better?
c/c? b/f or what on river?
Rise,

I like the whole hand. You should play drunk more often. :)

charge UTG more with whatever he has. plus if i get raised on the turn i can 3-bet and gain some extra bets. although i guess MP is putting in extra SB when he calls my 3-bet on the flop. and he's not usually raising the turn unless he also has atleast 2 pair.

i almost never use the stop n go, and after the thread about it i was trying to use it more in my play yesterday. i still never did, but i was just looking for good spots.

Meh, I vote c/c too, Heart on the river blew....
Waiting for the winds of change
To sweep the clouds away
Waiting for the rainbow's end
To cast its gold your way
Countless ways
You pass the days

What makes this different from a river with a four flushed board that you should bet/fold?

I think our hand is too strong for that. We get bluffed too often here, I think. Also, we really only get called by hands with a heart, most of the time. Checking signals to the villain that we have no heart, and will induce a bluff quite often.

I'm not a fan of Clarkmeister in pots this big with two-pair against an unknown.
Give me second pair, a 5 BB pot and a loose/passive villain, and I'm down with b/f.

that's how I roll.
