Yeah I'm watching it. I think I'm immune to Helmuth's antics now. He's got to do something really out there like tell a guy he doesn't even know how to spell poker in order to get me to laugh now

Daniel played the hand AWESOME -- optimally, in the most profitable way. I was really impressed. I was laughing at Phil after he went insane. That was hilarious. Good shtuff....hahahaha

Phil is terrible, he plays so scared because he fears making a mistake on TV. He doesn't even realize that he is the fish deluxe at the table. Calling down with A4 was very bad and then to go off was fing hilarious.

Antonio is impressive as well, I like his style of play.

Danny is playing terribly in this thing. He's down over 600k. Was down over 700k. He called doyle down on a flush draw when doyle flopped a fullhouse. Drawing to hands that aren't good if they get there.

Has daniel commented anywhere about his play?

I wouldn't say that he is playing terribly at all. If you watch any of the earlier episodes you would see that he had a ton of bad beats from Farha alone. Some of his hands just didn't work out. His play hasn't been terrible at all. Just a combination of luck and circumstance.

Because he has X-Ray vision and hence knew the flush draw was no good...

After the blowup, near the end of the episode, he picked up Q-Q. Harman raised preflop with 8-2o, Phil called pf. Flop was something like 5 6 10, dont remember the exact flop but Harman didnt even have a draw, Phil checked, Harman bet, Phil just called. Turn, he checked, Harman checked. Then river was something like: 5 6 10 7 9 giving Harman a suckout straight, and THEN Phil decided to bet.

Hilarious.

Thank you!!! I thought I was the only one who thought DN played terrible throughout. Granted he had his money in with the best of it and often lost those, but he was for sure tiltiing after a certain point...you can see it

I like Daniel but he isn't my favorite player, that would be Sammy. Daniel played fairly well in the first 7 episodes, but was unlucky in some key pots. Since then he has played far below his best game. No question from me.

Sammy and Barry in my opinion have been the most impressive players. Everyone comments that Sammy is a complete luckbox, and yes he has been lucky but he has shown the ability to gear down at times like when he rivered the third king against Todd Brunson who had AK and Sam had KT. Sammy doesn't call, he raises. He has shown himself to be a very strong NLH player.

Barry isn't flashy, but he mixes his game up well and he bets his hands well in my opinion.

Tonight's episode made me feel better. When Doyle re-raised Daniel's blind c/r by moving in with AA against Daniel's set of eights, I felt better. If Doyle friggin Brunson, a man who has been playing poker longer than I've been alive, can get hammered like that by a small/medium set I don't feel like such a donk for having it happen to me a few times.

Yeah yeah, I know, I'm still a donk, but at least now I'm a self-deluded, happy donk... icon_dance.gif
Hank's tenure at Soulsuckers, INC, LLC, DBA TBD, had not been long, but it had been distinguished... By drunkenness, hair-trigger violence, and a total lack of performance. I would call it a steady decline in performance, but that would imply that he performed at one point in time. In fact he had not. He was drunk.

If terribly means pushing small advantages and betting with the better hand the majority of the time, then I have to agree. Dan played terribly. biggrin.gif

yeah he sucks

what kind of world class pro loses 700k?

a) one that flops the nuts then his opponent turns the nuts and its impossible for him to get away from

cool.gif one that flops the 2nd nuts, moves allin, and his opponent calls with only the A high flush draws, and spikes it on the river

c) on a board of 55433 has 5x and his opponent has 54

d) yeah, DN really sucks he should of had X-ray vision and knew his flush draw was no good

honestly, if you think he sucks so much why dont you try the big game
