I enjoy playing the casino at pokerroom.com and I have a question about it. I like to bet on red and black. I wait until one color has been rolled twice in a row, and then I put a $2 bet on the other color. For example, red has been rolled twice in a row, so I put a $2 bet on black. This has made me some money since the odds are on my side, but last night it seems as if I'm the unluckiest person in the world or the site screwed me. Here's how it went. Red had been rolled 3 times in a row, so I put my $4 bet on black. Next roll is red, which is red 4 times in a row. I place an $8 bet on black. Next roll is red, again. So let's see here, 5 rolls in a row on red=3.125% (1/2*1/2*1/2*1/2*1/2) Ok, that's like some fish sucking out on the river. so now I put up a $20 bet because God surely cant do this to me. Next roll is....you guessed it.. R.E.D.!!!!   So now that's 6 rolls on red=1.5625% At this moment, I'm on roulette tilt. I put the rest of my money ($25, that's all I had left in the room) on black. Obviously the outcome is red, since God hates the color black. The odds of 7 red rolls=.78125%. Yes you read that correctly, less than 1%. This was my worst beat at the table (I lost the other money due to black hitting 6 times in a row, and red 5 another time).Could someone tell me if I'm doing the math right? If I am, then WOW, I hate odds as they seem to not like me. Now that I think about it, the odds might even be lower because of our good old friend, 0(zero). so the odds might be something like 17/36. So if the odds are 17/36, then the odds of it rolling 7 times in a row=.5236305%Since this happened several times in well under an hour, could this mean the casino is rigged? I dont want to sound like some idiot who is losing his money and is pissed, but that's exactly what I am.

I looked into it once, and you are right its really low, I think I saw like 1-100,000, I never played for money but I would make tons of money on play money roulette simply by doubling my bet and sticking with a color.
