After a year of playing exclusively at partypoker, I decided to try UB the other day. I'm not a huge fan of it, but the one thing that I think takes away from it is the "bet pot" button. I see way too many people use this just because it is there and easy to use. What does everyone else think of this feature? What other sites have it?

i don't play at UB, but i know for a fact that any site that has a "bet pot" button has just made the site's profitability (for the good players) multiply exponentially. what better than to have fish continually betting the pot in NL/PL games?! the pots get massive that way, and if you have an edge, you will get paid off big time.what i'm trying to say is that you should like it if you want to make money.aseem

couldn't agree more aseem. I never do anything but type my bets in. I like to have control over exactly what I bet. I also hate to use the slider thing...it just annoys me. :D

I guess I never thought about it in that context. In a NL/PL ring game it is a good thinkg. I was thinking of it in more in the context of a sng tournament or a limit ring game, but I'll keep a positive view of it in the NL/PL games.

if you're a timid player it's an easy way to learn how to steal pots in nl w/ position in cash games. try it out a dozen times in a session.-adam
