I don't like the C/r on the turn, it sucks when he checks behind you. Check raising the flop or leading the turn(you can get 3 bets in if he raises you) would have been better, IMO.nice hand

to answer your question, YES, you got max value.however, did you make the correct plays in order to maximize your value? no, i don't think so. i agree with wrto, the check-raise on the turn isn't a good move since it's so risky, but more so in a multiway pot.unless you had a good read on the player, only a great hand would bet the turn after you checked to him, and almost every other hand would check behind you. not many people would take a shot at bluffing the pot when you lead out on the flop after raising pre-flop.besides, if you had a read that the player was an aggressive bluffer, leading out the turn hoping for a raise, so that you could three-bet, would have been a better play IMHO.hope this helps, aseem

Agreed, what hands actually bet here after you check? QQ, KK, AA? He just flat called the flop raise so I don't put him on these. Qx may bet here but not more than about half of the time which makes you lose a bet in the long run.

C/r the turn lets him know he's probably looking at split pot AT best, with possibility of you having quads or KK/AA. You won't get him raising on the river and risk him checking the turn, costing you at least 1 bet.
