Binbs 0
Im dealt 99. Not sure about what suits they were. Im UTG on a 6 person table. Palt is on the cut off and czvezda is small blind. Palt is a large stack who usually plays solid cards. czvezda seems like a loose player.> Game # 263,606,438 starting.> Dealing Hole Cards> Binbs raised for $3> Razor-Pete folded> palt called for $3> ricone folded> czvezda called for $2.75> FLYeagles folded> Dealing the Flop(2 K Q )> czvezda bet for $0.50> Binbs called for $0.50> palt called for $0.50> Dealing the turn(10 )> czvezda bet for $0.50> Binbs called for $0.50> palt called for $0.50> Dealing the river(K )> czvezda checked> Binbs checked> palt checked> czvezda shows One Pair, Kings(K K Q 10 7 )> Binbs wins $11.90 with Two Pair, Kings over Nines
Nate 0
What were the chip stacks? And im assuming this is NL?...Well, if it is NL, then i would say to re-raise the flop. If you get called, then check/fold to the river. If you get re-raised, then fold.Folding to a .50 bet seems kinda stupid, since you've got the pre-flop raiser advantage. If you call, then you lose the pre-flop raiser advantage and are just wasting that .50 since you probably won't hit that 9. Binbs 0
palt had about 80 dollars. I had 65 and vxvezda had 40.Is this the normal strategy with raising pre flop. How much should my bet be? I usually end up lsing money raising preflop and then trying to fire away at the pot after the flop, which is why I wanted to minimize my losses as much as possible.
Nate 0
How much should my bet be?I've always been taught to raise 3x BB.
wrto4556 0
If he would have given you more to fear, i'de fold the flop...like if he bet the pot, for instance. But a .50 bet into a $9 pot I raise to $10 every time...no matter what I have.
Metro 0
If he would have given you more to fear, i'de fold the flop...like if he bet the pot, for instance. But a .50 bet into a $9 pot I raise to $10 every time...no matter what I have. There's still another player to act behind him. Maybe raise $10 on the turn, but doing so on the flop would be pretty aggressive, especially if you put the guy behind you on playing solid hands. Although I do suggest raising the flop bet. .5 bet doesn't allow you to get much of a read on anybody. Raise it up and try to see where you stand. Side note: Looking at > czvezda shows One Pair, Kings (K K Q 10 7 ) ... The K K Q 10 were all on the board... he bet to the river on a 7-high? What site was this on? I want to add this guy to my Aquarium.
