playing in my normal sunday night $30 buy-in tourney. 50 players signed up. about 30 left at this point.I've got about 3500. Blinds are at 100-200. A player who i've been playing with pretty much the whole night has about 1600 left and makes it 500 from UTG. I put him on a high pair or A/k. I look down and see two black tens. My favorite hand. I flat call, hoping for the set, but being in position , figuring I can make a decisions after the flop. Flop comes 3-7-10 2 hearts. He starts to push his stack in, and as soon as all-in comes out of his mouth I call. He's got K-K. My set looks great. Until the turn. which was a K. ouch.So i'm down to about 1900. Very next hand I get K-10 and limp-in. I'm a little on tilt, and semi-short-stacked, so K-10 looks ok. Then I flop two pair. The pot has like 1500 in it, so i move in. Guy on my right says "I think you're just on tilt" and calls with A-J. Turn: Q. And I'm out. To add insult to injury, the river was another queen. He hit his four outter twice. I blame it all on the fact that my friend who was dealing was wearing a Party Poker shirt.

when i called it i wasn't sure exactly what he had. and he made it cheap enough that i could call and try to hit my set... especially better if people called behind me. 3 and 4 way pots weren't uncommon... so if i flop my set i'm golden... which made the decision after the flop pretty easy.plus wired tens is my favorite hand...
