mrdannyg 274
ok, i actually am a TA for an economics class, and am marking their midterms. These are a couple answers I've seen on one guy's paper:1. If everyone takes the price as a given in a price-taker model, who sets it?A: The government. Them and their conspiracies...(followed by a diagram of a guy being stalked by guys in fedoras, which i wish i could recreate)2. Define "long-run" and "short-run." Can the "long-run" happen sooner than the "short-run?"A: long run is pouring your heart into a relationship for 3 years of your life only to witness your soul devastated in the name of "having a good time."Short run is living day to day and being unable to face people while you wait for your heart to mend itself, losing out on essentials such as class and labs."I really want to give this guy an A!Daniel

fryer98 30
This girl I talk to is a HS English teacher and reads some of the stuff she gets turned in. She should really save the good ones and publish a book. It's good stuff.collegehumor.com posts a lot of tests that people send them where they answered insane things too. Hobbes 1
There was a teacher who would put all the A papers up on a bulletin board. One kid never got an A, so his papers were never put up on the board and he was embarrassed because of it. So his mom sued. The judge ruled in favor of the school saying, "a little embarrassment can be a good thing sometimes."

Hobbes 1
I really hate this country sometimes. My reaction exactly.Curtis Gokey isn't the kind of guy to take any guff from anyone — not even himself. Gokey is suing the city of Lodi, Calif., for damages because a dump truck backed into his car. The only problem is, Gokey, a Lodi city employee, was the guy driving the dump truck.Even though he admitted that the fender bender was his fault, Gokey filed a $3,600 claim against the city for damage to his private vehicle, the Associated Press reports. The city, noting that he was basically suing himself, shot the suit down. But Gokey, obviously not one to be bothered by semantics, wasn't deterred. He and his wife, Rhonda, filed a new claim under her name — this time for $4,800.Why the increase in the payout? Car got more valuable? Typo? Hardly."I'm not as nice as my husband is," she said. mrdannyg 274
if he actually drew the guy in the fedora, you gotta give him the A.there was a good amount of space, and the drawing clearly shows a youngish guy looking over his shoulder at 2 guys wearing fedoras. pretty impressive actually.he's still going to fail, but at least he's my new best friend

Flow73 0
http://media.skoopy.com/misc/essay/This one is a foward, but it's hilarious, you can tell he knew enough about the play to half *** a decent paper instead he spent more time to get a D. I just wish I realized how useless high school is when I was there so I could of done stuff like this.
HangukMiguk 8
My reaction exactly. That whole first one sounds like what happened to my cousin in school this year. He's pretty overweight, and his P.E. teacher has it out for him (of course, he's fat, and he's in a gym...don't they all?) He doesn't run as fast as everyone out...and she calls him out on this, in front of the entire class, screaming, "I know you can run faster than that...I've seen you on your way to lunch!"True...but uncalled for. And of course, she got away with it, on the same grounds.

And of course, she got away with it, on the same grounds. That's not the same thing at all. The same thing would be the P.E. teacher putting the best running times on a board and the fat kid never being on it. In this case, the P.E. teacher is just being mean, while the other teacher was being nice by praising those that did well.
