Been reviewing my HH and noticed this interesting hand from awhile ago.

Party 10/20 (10 handed)
CO is loose passive; cold-calls way too often.
BB is new, but seemed a little on the loose passive side also

Preflop: Hero has KhJh in Mp1
Hero raises, CO calls, BB calls

Flop (3 handed): 9h 3h Qd
BB checks, Hero bets, CO raises, BB calls, Hero 3-bets, both call.

I felt I had a pretty sizable equity edge and wasn't too worried about it going cap/fold. The down side of it is what happens next...

Turn: 5c
BB checks, Hero....
I almost certainly no longer have an edge, but not continuing the lead makes my hand pretty obvious.

Are we firing in the hopes of getting paid off at the river, or checking and hoping for the free card?
Does this likely turn situation mean that its better to just call the flop?

I'm fine with pumping the pot on the flop. We do have a good equity edge with three players. As for the hand, put them on hands and estimate your FE.

I am really happy to enter in this site. Poker is one of the online gaming. It is very talented game. In poker game so many persons play with betting. It is almost gambling. It has so many types. Family members also play for fun with this game. We're all new players and we cannot play at 4 tables at once! It's incredible.

OP is asking about the turn, Cobalt.

I'm torn on it. C/C'ing just seems so weak. I maybe bet/call. Depends a lot on the table conditions however.

I want more replies to this though.

easy bet, this may be technically incorrect looking at pure percentages, but in the future, it disguisses how you play your hands and next time you flop top set and play it the same way you will get paid off so bet the turn!!!!

It's best to bet this turn, not just for metagame reasons or for future hands, but for this hand.

As has been said, you probably don't have the equity to make money by betting this turn. By checking, though, you might as well flip your hand face up. The bets you gain with deception outweigh the money you lose by betting the turn.

So essentially we bet here to preserve our implied odds.
