I agree. Zimmer, you should be good enough postflop to play both of these hands for a raise.- Zach

I dont like playing it in EP for a raise to be honest, and I would throw it away more than I would call/raise with hit. It's not weak, tight yes, but not weak.
Goodbye FCP.

I'm supertight in EP because I can't stand playing hands out of position. I raise with k-qs UTG then get 3 bet and capped and I dunno what to do when the flop comes K-rag-rag. Most of the time I end up passive as **** and call down. EP I will only raise with 10-10 or better, limp with 8-8 down depending on the game. I limp with A-K and A-Q and A-Js only. I dump the A-J around 50-60% of the time depending how I'm running. K-Q I dump around 60-70% of the time, also depending on my session and the donks I'm runnin with.
Goodbye FCP.

5-10 Full ring (I just recently moved up). If I'm first in MP I will open raise with a LOT of hands. Including the afforementioned. My VPIP = 25.30, so I dont think I'm that tight. PT lists me as SLAA.
Goodbye FCP.

hmm...10-j os? A-rag suited? Any PP? With no reads, I always try to assume the best (that people are intelligent and that they will RARELY cold call, they will 3 bet or fold). Because of that, I tend to raise more. If I get a good read that people are donks and cold call like crazy, I shut down a bit more. Am I a fish?
Goodbye FCP.

sorry to hear that.********************back to thread....If my EP raises are constantly being 3 bet, I'd leave. But say the whole 10/20 is that way, I'd play KQs from EP but not off suit.aspects of position are less important when my KQ raises keep getting cold called by J9 off.2/4 != 10/20 though.

I'm going to take a break from poker though at the end of this month, figure out what to do with my life. I should rob hookers, then start a cult.

Just don't tell Tom Cruise about it. It'll get all mainstream and everything will be ruined.

I guess I don't see why folding KQ in EP at a full table is a big mistake. It is a marginal hand, and I don't think I'm giving up much EV by folding there. That said, I raise in EP with AJ+ suited or unsuited, 77+, fold 66-, and that's about it.

you play at level where those that call you or raise you I imagine are better at using pos and have higher quality hands on average than the players calling at the lower levels. So, that's probably the source of this. But I'm pretty ignorant as far as 10/20..so I'll hush.
