In the U.K we only have McDonalds and Burger King. Wendy's tried a few years ago, but it didnt happen for them. That "White Castle" burger looks like instant cholesterol in a bun. Amazing.

WHITE CASTLE PWNS!!!! I've never actually been there, but I've had them at parties, and they rule. Seriously. I've also had the microwaveable ones, and they also rule.

White Castles are fantastic, but I don't really put them in the "best burger" race. It's like they are a different food, really. I love White Castles, but when I'm hungry for a burger, that's not what I want.

We don't have In n Out in Indiana but I grew up in CA (lived there until I was 19 and get out there a couple times a year), so I'm going with In n Out.

When I'm hungry for a burger and have limited selection, I go with Burger King, Wendy's or Hardees (Same as Carl's Jr, but East of MO).

That being said, I think the best burger I've ever eaten was at the Snack Bar at Binions in downtown Las Vegas. It was greasy and cheesy and oh so good and had all the fixins.

Gale (Oprah's best friend) likes this one. She went all over the US testing burgers.

Do you have Applebees in your part of the UK? I know there is one in Edinburgh, Scotland. Anyway, they make a pretty good burger too.

If I could eat pub food, I'd probably skip Mc Donalds and Burger King. I love pub food.

as far as fastfood burgers, i think wendy's are pretty good.

there's some burger place in aladdin in vegas (cheeseburger on the oasis, maybe?), where i had an amazing bacon and bluecheese burger. its tough to pick a favorite, but i'd put that one in my top three for sure.

I think it is mostly just a Midwestern chain, but Culver's has the best burgers. Their double deluxe butterburger is the most mouth watering burger ever! icon_drool.gif

Ummm....something is wrong with the poll, WHITE CASTLE is winning???!!!

Their burgers are decent and I go for them every once in awhile but did not expect to see them winning. Everytime I go there, you get mudbutt a few hours later.
