I am perfectly fine with us signing him, to bad our QB will not likely be able to get him the ball.

You'll be sorry he ever came to Dallas and ruined your team. It won't take long.

Not really.
TO is like 32 years old. He wants to get paid and doesn't have many years left to do that, so he needs to keep his butt in line for that to happen. This could be his last big contract.

Except that there will always be another team willing to take a shot with him, so why would he keep his butt in line?

Just because teams will take a shot, doesn't mean they will pay max value or not put heavy stipulations in the contract.
Dispite the crap Drew Roseagent was spewing on ESPN this morning, don't think some of the teams interested were not going to put huge stipulations on any contract they were offering. Dallas didn't do that, they were one of the few teams offering money + no/few stipulations. If he blows it in Dallas, that list keeps getting smaller or becomes non-existent.

I didn't hear what Drew said, but I think he's part of the problem. He has T.O. thinking that he deserves all this money and long-term contracts, etc., so Owens doesn't really see the reality of his situation. Which just makes it less likely that he doesn't act out at some point. He might be good for one year, but he's clearly a destructive personality.

Do or do not. There is no "try."

You should've put a picture of Owens as a 49er celebrating on the Dallas star at midfield.

TO signing makes alot of sense...3 biggest egos in their respective fields:
Jerry Jones
Bill Parcells
TO
What is the over/under on the # of games he lasts with the Cowboys?
I put it at 20.
Ok, I think I'm going to venture out of the house for the first time in a few days. A round of golf in the sun will do me some good.

Do games where he is suspended count or are we talking number of games he actually plays in?

Suspensions count...thus, (20 games including pre-season) he is there only one year.

I'll take the over. He won't be released until after this year. He might be suspended the later part of the year, but he'll still be on the team. Owens will be fine the first year if the QB can get him the ball, but that's certainly no guarantee. If he's not getting the ball and the team is losing, look out.

I wouldnt call it a cheapshot at all. George Teague was defending his homefield and organization on that one.
