Thought it was kind of instructional how my weak slow play managed to get AKs/three aces beaten by 35 offsuit. And it wasn't even a bad beat. Got what I deserved. If I make a strong bet anywhere along the way before the river, I most likely take that pot down. I thought there was no compelling reason to scare or tip anybody off before the flop. Mistake. Then after flopping the trip aces I had a false sense of security since the rest of the board looked like garbage. Never expected the 35 but obviously I left it too cheap for the BB to chase his straight.Figured maybe somebody might learn from my stupidity. Hope I do.

He's making a post in the "Poker Strategy" section about bad strategy. I don't see the problem. He's admitting fault and not asking for anyone's sympathy.

Well you are a dumb doctor with money to burn so who cares? You don't even have enough to sit at the table. I think you need to re-watch season 2 of the WPT DVD set that Nurse Betty bought for you last holiday season. This is a forum for good poker players, not dumb doctors.

I may not be a good poker player but I don't cheat my friends.Oh, I guess you like the idea of spending $80 to see a doctor for 5 minutes, wrto? Especially when you know that they go put $1000 into a poker website and play worse than a drunken monkey?Sorry if I offended any drunken monkeys.

Yea, when I have to go in for surgery, I'd probably rather see a doctor that is only going to cost me $10/hr. Considering the price of his schooling, he'll probably be busier fighting off the student loan officers than concentrating on the project at hand... Either that or remove a kidney or something while you're out cold so he can sell it on the black market to pay back his loans. Ooooor... he could have just skipped med school altogether. There are some things in this life I don't mind paying money for. My health is one of them. Secondly, hey, at least if he's going online playing poor poker, I have a chance to win the money back from him. Would YOU rather he went out and spent $1000 on a new tv?

Good point, but I still can't afford to go to the doctor. Old people visit the doctor like it's fun, because they get all that medicaid money, and they're willing to pay anything to keep their 80 year old body alive. Meanwhile young people, who SHOULD be able to afford the doctor (20-somethings, 30-somethings) with kids, can barely do so. I just think young folks should be able to afford doctor visits b/c they can benefit from it now, and end up leading a better, healthier life. What good is it if an 80-year old goes is spending 1k a week on doctors???No sense at all. This is what makes health insurance skyrocket for us young folks. I'm a healthy 25 year old and my very standard health insurance runs about 5k/year. This is absurd. I spend less than $500/year at the doctors office. Please come back with a reason why you like doctors/health insurers and the vicous cycle of greed.

You know, i've tried really hard not to make fun of you...But I just can't help it. You play horrible, you have no solid logic behind any of your ideas, and you're a complete hypocrite. You are far from a winning player, or even good for that matter, yet you tell people this is a forum for good players. When you first started posting on here you were, and still are, giving horrible, horrible advice, and the forum let you know...kind of put you in your place....Seriously, if i'm being honest, you, if anyone, have no place posting here. You need to just sit back and read from now on. You have no clue what winning poker is.

Yes, of course they were. They were also around when people came up with ideas like:When it's raining, its the gods crying. When there is lightning, it's because the gods are angry.Top two pair should beat a set in certain instances. These things all have one thing in common. They are "ideas" based in no form of truth or logic whatsoever...................................................................... and they're crazy.

This was not only retarded and idiotic, it was also uncalled for. From one of your other posts in this thread I saw your bitching about the medical establishment and how much health insurance costs you and so on ... but how is it this guys fault? Because he's a doctor (or you think he is just because he's got Dr. in his online name)? Ridiculous. If you want to go to the off-topic forum or somewhere else online and whine/complain about the whole medical system then that's fine, but to be a complete jackass to some random guy who presumably makes a good living is just stupid.
