Seriously this is the best show on TV. Better than the Sopranos even. Just wondering if any of you watch it and what u think of it and where its going. Kinda seems like they might finish it this season, hopefully not. Whatever, totally random and off the topic.

I tried watching that show once, but having not seen all of the epsiodes preceeding the one I saw this is what I surmised:There is an evil midget working for a woman who is a man who was a Russian soldier during a war who wants to kill a preacher who can kill people by looking at them funny.Probably a good show, but not something to watch cassually it would seem...

i think they both (ben and justin) could go either way, i would bet brother jsutin is evil and he is gonna kill scudder and become the Usher of darkness, ben is already (i think) the prince of light, killing management did htat for him i think, which would make him good, but i could be totally wrong about theat. regardless its gonna set up a sweet showdown. And i thnk sophie is the wildcard.deadwood kicks ass as well, swearingen is the man

Love the show. Smash is right though, you have to see it from the beginning. Can't pick it up in the middle. Deadwood rocks too. I love HBO on demand so i can watch a series from the beginning. I am anxiously awaiting the next Sopranos season.Justin

Gonna have to wait a while for that, I'm afraid. I hear Spring of '06. *sob* Tony! Come back! We miss you!

I enjoy the show, but "Deadwood" and "Huff" are my favorites. As well as "The Wire". I find "Deadwood" to be a great show for poker fans as well with all the power mongering and politicking. It is poker in real life. Or really poker is simplified in game form, the struggle for power and $$ in real life.Like all these shows, "Carnivale" needs to be watched from the beginning. Those with In Demand type digital cable can catch up and see them all. My only negative comment about Carnivale is that it seems like a whole lot of nothing sometimes... just slowly unravelling mystery after mystery.

Carnivale is a great show. I have seen every episode. Stumpy is my favorite guy from the show. Deadwood is Excellant!! My wife hates that every other word is pus*y, c*nt, co*ksucker. Wire is a Damn fine show as well. I pay for HBO not for the movies but for the shows.Dont Forget "Curb"

I watched the first season of Carnivale religiously. My ex and I used to eat dinner and follow it. Of course.. we're talking the first 10 episodes before things started making sense. The Preacher was a good guy, things were dying around the other dude.. man it was a mind trip. We didn't understand it, but we had tons of fun trying to figure it out.I, personally, thought it was better than the sorpranos.
