the only thing I can see wrong is that your bet on the river is rather small, were you trying to get action on it. Other than that he played his hand rather dumb as he could've had his set broken by a flush or straight, not much you can do

Sorry to be a newbie, but is this NL or Limit?I'm assuming Limit. After the turn you have AA and you're betting into :) :D :D :diamond:IMO you overplayed your :spadesa: :spades6: when you were UTG.After the flop you had no flush possibilty, no straight possibility and a low kicker if you tangle with another A-x. You're lucky that he just called your river bet and didn't raise you.

Betting that flop isn't correct, imoEven in a limit game, A-x suited isn't that great a hand.

Check the turn.Him not slamming this flop is horrible, but not as horrible as him not raising pre-flop.IF you push on the turn, you take this down most of the time, but you'd have to be psychic to know he didn't have the flush there. He has second set one a flush board, of course he's just going to call small bets, he played it fine after the turn.
