you weren't in position to value raise it, you still had people behind you yet to act, maybe you could've threebet the flop, but the guy behind you might've capped it which would shut out customers, which you don't want. Raising the turn would've just been a bad idea. YOu need to be the last to act so that you can pull off the free card play, or you have to be sure that the player behind you would fold anyway. What is your Party name, btw. mine is my handle here

You should raise it to clean up your overcard outs and possibly get a free card. It'll happen to be for value if everyone calls wich is kind of unlikely given your position. You should still raise though.

I'd have raised that. It was not raised pre-flop, so an overpair to the board is unlikely. Q or J would likely be clean outs along with your flush draw. By raising, you get more value if everybody calls or gain better position and can take a free card if it's checked back to you and miss. Either way, raising is the play here given your strong draw.

Smash is right here, Raise it for value, as well as getting rid of some overcards...But raising here to get a freecard? Don't even think about it, you're not in position you have people acting behind you so if you check this on the turn, you're going to get raised by someone behind you.bet here for value, if someone 2bets behind you, you're calling. If you don't hit your card on 4th, You may want to check here, unless there still 3-4 people in the pot, inwhich case you can bet, and withstand a re-raise with someone else involved. There is no way you will be seeing a freecard from this position though, you're betting for value and that is it.
