ESPN has making comments about how the WBC isn't catching on here in the USA, but I wish they would really look in the mirror when they do comment about it. They show the USA games on a tape delay in the middle of the night and wonder why no one is paying attention. The games are only broadcast on XM Radio, worldbaseballclassic.com, and ESPN (in the middle of the night). Not everyone wants to dish out the money that it costs to listen and view over the internet, and not everyone has access to an XM Radio. Then to top it off ESPN shows the USA games in the middle of the night? No wonder no one is paying attention. This is a freaking joke. They like to gripe about how it's not catching in and it is themselves that is perpetuating the whole thing.

Seriously, and it's also just a bit early to say that it's not catching on. Maybe they should let people watch it for 4 or 5 years, and then see how popular it is.

I agree that we need to give a few times around before we really start to pass judgement. I do have an XM Radio, so I can listen anytime I want, but I would much rather see the game. ESPN Deportes is the only ESPN affiliate that is showing every single game. First off I can barely speak English let alone anything else, and second not everyone gets ESPN Deportes in this country. However, it still burns me.

I thought they were only doing this every four years anyway.

The next one will only be 3 years down the road so as not to be held in an Olympic year, and then 4 years after that.

Oh wow I had no idea. Thought it was every year. Every 4 is better though.

You know what really grinds my gears...?

Agree completely. What a joke having it on tape delay. Didnt they learn anything from the way everyone ripped the Olympic coverage last month?

I guess this is all unnecessary rambling because Hollywood personifies something I hate about most people. He can take valuable knowledge, stare it right in the fucking face and never let a single sentence absorb into his brain.

This whole thing is really dumb. Why do I want to watch the US game when the score has been decided for hours? It's on in the background, but I'm not really paying attention.

Earlier tonight:
"The US-Korea game will air in its entirety at 10 PM Pacific time tonight."

Just now:
"Due to time constraints, we're going to move ahead in the action."

WTF.

I am really happy to enter in this site. Poker is one of the online gaming. It is very talented game. In poker game so many persons play with betting. It is almost gambling. It has so many types. Family members also play for fun with this game. We're all new players and we cannot play at 4 tables at once! It's incredible.

And it's a shame, because some of the games have been very competitive and fun to watch, provided you were actually awake to see them.

ESPN (and a number of other networks) seem to have a hard time understanding that starting games at 9 pm PST is a horrible choice if you expect to get viewers. It's almost as bad as the retardation that is the World Series scheduling.
Steve Nash, Raja Bell, Boris Diaw, Shawn Marion, Amare Stoudemire;
Marcus Banks, Leandro Barbosa, James Jones, Jalen Rose, Kurt Thomas.

Find 10 who can beat it.
