Str8ballin4free 0
I live in a city/state where there is no gambling, so I go to this "underground" club and sit down on Friday night. I've been working all week so I want to relax. I see a few flops (1-3 NL) but fold my no pairs "waiting for a better spot". I pick up 77 in the big blind and check in a five way limped pot. Flop comes 274 two diamonds semi-aggressive guy before me bets six dollars I call everyone else folds. Pot is about 25 bucks. Turn Q of spades. Board is now two spades and two diamonds. He has KQ of diamonds. He bets like 15 or something and I go all in for like 55 more he calls and asks you got a set, I say yes, he says "well you're ahead". Yes sir you are right I am ahead. (didnt say that). P.S. You have seven outs. Anyways he hits his non board-pairing diamond and I leave. Maybe I should bring two buy-ins next time.
GoCryWolfe 0
I guess I'm unsure of a few things...1) 1-3 NL? Maybe I am just unaware... 2) So you bought in for roughly $70 if you "saw a few flops."You played it poorly on the flop... I raise the flop. I dont see why you just call. Mercury69 3
Probably didn't raise the flop because he wanted to see if the turn came a D. If no D, then chances for the flush to hit are much less. Anyway...
