I am starting this thread to try and get input on later round or lower dollar sleeper players for the season (draft or auction, either way).I will start: take a look at Chris Young out in SD. He moves from a ridiculous hitter friendly park in Texas, where he posted fairly reasonable numbers for a rookie (12 Ws, 1.2 WHIP, 4.2 ERA) to a ridiculous pitcher friendly park in SD. I guess he won the job by default when Pokey Reese went AWOL (always a good career move to give up a pretty solid lock job by walking away, I sure wish I could do that with my job, but I digress)...........I'm kind of lucky this year in the MI, we can freeze up to two players a year and I have Utley and Felipe Lopez dirt cheap, so I have a nice head start at a pretty scarce position in an NL only league.My homer sleeper: I think So Taguchi ends up with a majority of the LF starts for the Cards. Probably gets 400 or so ABs. He should be good for .280 10 homers and 10 steals. Again, nice cheap buck or two option for those slots where you need buck or two players. He's pretty good. Emil Brown is okay...MacDougal will get his 25 or so saves..so there is some value in that...and Mike Sweeney is a pretty good hitter when healthy..and now that he is DHing primarily..could put up some pretty solid numbers.You're not going to make me define 'sleeper' for you, are you?McDougal will fetch a fair price as a closer.Well, when I drafted him in my Public League in the second to last round, everyone laughed at me and told me he sucked...so I guess they would all call him a "sleeper" at best. Good source of K's also.His WHIP was almost 1.4 and his ERA was almost 4 (I remember) - he's one of those guys who if he puts it all together could shoot into the top tier. If the Yankees didn't throw obscene amounts of money at Kyle Farnsworth just to set up Mo Rivera, the Braves bullpen would be looking a little better. Reitsma is a good set up guy, but he has issues closing.I like Joey Devine, though. He got roughed up when he came up to get some experience, but it doesn't look like it's fazed him.
