Oh and moment of the season...last night when Jack shot Henderson's wife in the leg. Holy **** that was awesome!

O.C. = soap opera
Dancing with the Stars = soap opera fans stay awake despite drinking during the day
The Bachelor = soap opera
24 = not a soap opera

Maybe you're right, but I still can't get with these shows. I think CSI sucks too. TV drama is just so poorly written.

TV in general is poorly written. But when someone shoots a chick in the leg...I'm all eyes.

Meh. I'll stick with reruns of Seinfeld, Family Guy, and old Simpsons episodes.

Yes...those are the few and far in between examples of good writing on TV. Over/under on years Simpsons will last?

I don't know, but it can't be much longer. The new shows are getting pretty stupid. I only watch the old ones. I'll say they probably crank out two more seasons before the sentiment wears thin, and audiences finally see it for what it is.

Wow. That is terribly general statement that is unbelievably false when it comes to shows like CSI and Law & Order.

I've seen both shows. I'm not impressed with either. They're unbelievable most of the time, and sometimes they're just downright ridiculous. Not to mention, CSI is pretty much the same show every single time. They have a format and they stick to it.

My roommate loves CSI though. Luckily she knows better, and watches it in her room, while I use the big screen to watch 17 hours of poker and the Food Network every day.

Well, you're entitled to your opinion. While I may agree that CSI can really stretch when it come to believability, Law & Order has consistently been one of the best written shows for a very long time.

I've only seen a little bit of Law and Order when my girlfriend was watching it so I won't debate you on that one. CSI, on the other hand, is pretty bad as is almost every drama on tv.

Seconded. I never liked the spin-offs.
They seem to be getting ready for an LA version.

That might actually be cooler than Miami. Sick of stories about drunk underage girls going to clubs and getting raped. Show me the aftermath of a gang war in Compton. Show me what happens when you walk to the casino in Inglewood after dark. Now that's TV!

The cast they are going to use for LA is pretty sweet. They introduced them all in the Detective Brass goes to Hollywood episode.

LA pwns...
I'm not sure if I should answer that...
If I do, I'll probably get a TTIWWP.
Take from that what you will.
