DrTongue 0
Can't say that either one of these hands is a horrible beat but when you put them together in the same sit and go... After I worked like heck to dig out of the first beat, king jack knifes me in the back again!!Isn't it ironic? Vade 0
1st hand the only thing you could do is raise bigger preflop, to 5X the BB, but that probably wouldn't have done any good.Your opponent had TPSTK, and was going nowhere2nd hand, is not a bad beat whatsoever.I would have waited for a better spot then UTG with KJo for trying to steal the blinds, because you are second in chips!Folding is a better playYour opponent had a pair AND was the chip leader, easy call for him

If my math is correct the pot size is about 400? and you bet 1000??? this really loks like a bluff. you probably woulda ended up all in anyway, but betting like 300 here gives him, and you(if he calls and youre able to fold the turn) a chance to avoid this

I was probably going to have to take a few more pots. The chip leader had been playing surprisingly tight and KJo is only a semi-bluff four-handed. Still I wish I had folded. I'm not invoking the bad beat. Just kind of annoyed that I got dinged on opposite sides of KJ in the same tournament.

I don't follow all the math sometimes. I've layed down AA, but that would have been a tough fold without a set, flush or straight staring me in the face.
