I'm starting to use this line more myself. I think it's good because:1) it may fold higher pocket pairs2) you won't get played back at by Ax because he'll fear AK3) if you showdown, you get more action from him wiht your Ax hands, which means 1) no longer applies and you have to stop using this line with Ax handsSo yeah, I like to mix this line in every now and again. If you're not folding, this line works best because it gets you to showdown the cheapest way, and gives you control of the hand which gives you fold equity.If he calls the 3-bet, fire again on the turn. How many posts do you see here where people call flop 3-bets with pocket pairs, hoping to outdraw what looks to be a pair of aces on the turn. So bet the turn and check behind on the river. This is much better than checking behind the turn and calling/folding to a river bet UI.

He is at 16 BB/100 over those 380.. so, maybe something to his way, if you can get on the right tables

What do you do is he calls and lead the turn?What do you do if he caps?How often do you think you can win the pot right here?

i'm just very careful about the opponent i do this against, as opposed to cards or other circumstances.many TAGs play an A this way, though SLAPs, TAAs and others might play a 7 or draw like this.I'm a pretty typical TAG, and i often play a weak ace like this.

I don't think he calls with a weak Ace preflop all that much
