thecamelot 0
Just looking at my poker tracker stats, my biggest losses are in the SB & BB. Looking for any advice that can help...BB/hand over 8806 hands (1/2):button: +0.101: +0.142: +0.033: +0.154: +0.115: +0.006: +0.047: +0.06BB: (0.23)SB: (0.17)It's significant how much I'm losing here, and it's really affecting my win rate. At 1/2 I have 93.02% SB fold to steal and 72.13% BB fold to steal.Would it be helpful to post some BB hands? How bad is this rate in the blinds?
Actuary 3
what are you losing per hand ?The BB/Hand column?

Zach6668 513
You will never be making money in the long run from the blinds. At least, unless you are an exceptionally amazing player, I suppose. The idea is to minimize the loss from posting the blinds. Ie, if you just folded each time, you would be (.50 BB/hand) from the bb. and (.25 BB/hand) from the SB.So the idea is to lose less than that.If you are concerned about your play, try posting some hands from the BB and SB. Maybe you should be loosening up a bit with calls from the BB or SB. Tough to say without some hands. My BB/hand stats are:BB (0.19)SB (0.14)- Zach
econ_tim 0
your stats aren't horrible, but there is definitely room for improvementpost some of your typical blind handsalso, what is your VP$IP from the blinds?
thecamelot 0
Good to know that it's not *that* bad. I edited the first post to show in terms of BB/hand rather than $ amount.VPIP in BB: 14.43VPIP in SB: 20.97Would it be more helpful to post a list of hands I'm playing/not playing in the blinds, or some specific hands? Zach6668 513
Anything that you think would help is worth posting. I'd err on posting more, than withholding some stuff. What are you standards for completing the SB in an unraised pot? What hands will you defend from the BB?- Zach

Actuary 3
Not enough dead money in the pot.Actuary, will you call from the BB?probablyprobably not good though. But I'm working on Blind play and willing to sac some EV for marginal hand practice....Like I just called with K6s 4 handed to a LP raise...and flopped two pair and lead out...PFR calls with 1 over and a bdsd...and proceeds to hit the ony two cards to beat me.... hence my downswing continues...this is brutal

I defended the call, along with some others, but others didn't like it. Curious what a SLAP like you would do.I like the call with Q8s here, at least there is some degree of connectedness. (From the BB, not the SB).- Zach
