CO posts a blind of $0.50. 1 fold, Hero raises, 1 fold, Button calls, SB calls, BB 3-bets, Hero calls, Button calls, SB calls.Flop: (13 SB) 3:diamond:, 3:heart:, 9:spade: (4 players)SB checks, BB bets, Hero raises, Button folds, SB calls, BB calls.Turn: (9.50 BB) 8:club: (3 players)SB checks, BB bets, Hero raises, SB folds, BB calls.River: (13.50 BB) A:club: (2 players)BB checks, Hero checks.good? bad?Could i have flat called the flop and then popped the turn to gain more FE?As played should I have just given up on the turn?Fire another on the river to see if he'll fold 1010 - KK? That is still a crappy play though. The beauty of the free showdown raise is when we have outs to improve, we pick up an extra bet by betting on the river when we hit, and checking behind with a hand we want to showdown.We are beat so often here, I just give up on the turn.
