Hearts: absolutly killer, The last quartet of Chan/Mortenson/Juanda/D Brunson has got to be the toughest on the bracket. Not to mention a potential Flack/Negreanu matchup. Clubs: Champion and Runner up from last year, I don't think make it out of the first round. Reese is still probably the best all-around player alive, and Jesus has a tough draw in Deeb. Todd Brunson should cakewalk his way until the elite 8, where he'll have a tough match with either Matusow, Arieh, or Reese.Spades: I don't see any real threat to Lindgren until the elite 8, where he should face either Fischman or Men the master. Liking the master/disciple possible matchup at the bottom with Greenstien/Lee. Hearts: The favorite Ivey will have a tough second round match with either Ted Forrest, or the veteran Seidel. The bottom of the bracket is much more interesting with a bunch of super-aggresive players set to meet in the second round.

Wow...no mention at all of the champion..Hellmuth. I guess he did get pretty damn lucky to win last year...oh wait a minute, he completely demolished everyone, including Ferguson.

the only reason Hellmuth won is because Mikey was in jail. :club:

looks like a very cool event - the only thing i dislike is the fact that some really good pros who deserve to be there are not there in favor of some celebrities.i know nbc can do what they want and they need to get ratings but i don't think anybody's watching for jerry buss. any extra rating acquired because of a few celebrities would be slim at best if it would make any difference at all but the integrity compromise is great.i mean you can actually make a case for jennifer tilly seeing as she did win 2 major events even though they were female-only events but she won nonetheless.but i mean jerry buss, james woods and sheikan instead of d'agostino, gracz and alan ghoering is a little silly. if sean sheikan can get into this thing for basically being a dikhead at the wsop then shouldn't joseph hachem be there for WINNINGthe wsop?like i said, i know that's tv and rating counts but will more people really watch because of jerry buss as opposed to paul darden or the world champion?correct me if i'm wrong and i'm sure you will.

It is without a shadow of a doubt that the Hearts Bracket is the most grueling. Even getting out of the first round will be a challenge. I still have to go with my favorite player to come out of the hearts division: John Juanda taking down Daniel in my dream Elite Eight match up.If Todd gets past Jen in the second round, I think we will see him in the Final Four.Watch out for Huck Seed, if the guy remains focused I think he will walk out of his bracket into the final four.Ivey will need to get past who ever his second round opponent to have a chance, but the big match in that bracket is going to be the Mizrachi vs. Cunningham potential match up.I wonder how many people put Ivey as thier potential winner?

THE NINE TIME WORLD CHAMPION!!!I hope you say that in jest. Nevertheless it really irritates me. He's won 9 bracelets, not world championships. There's one official world championship and that's the ME. Then there are the unofficial ones, which would be the highest stakes World Series event in each game.but i mean jerry buss, james woods and sheikan instead of d'agostino, gracz and alan ghoering is a little silly. Joe Cassidy deserves to be there too.

I like how Bodog gave Sheikhan 60:1, yet gave Paul Phillips 75:1, Raymer 75:1, Esfandiari 64:1, the list goes on...Are they on crack?
