I raise if im opening.I also raise if im a bit later.I thought that might come up... i raise 10's in an unraised pot every time. Likewise, i limp with 8's if someone is limped in front of me unless in late position. 9's are usually where i draw the line for things like that.I know it's a bet. The options are "bet/fold" or "bet/call". VOTE OR DIEPS:He had aces.ACES BABY!

Bet/Call is pretty automatic here, hands like 2 pair will check/raise that river as well. Checking behind on the river is also really bad, so bet/call is the only play without an incredible read. I'd also raise pre-flop.

i concur - don't think the clarkmeister applies when your hand is that strong

the spirit of the Clarkmeister is:you are hu and oopthe board is very scary and you have a decen hand, but one that is beaten if villan has hit the obvious draw.you bet/fold the river becaue he will never raise worse hands and he may fold weak hands, like a bad flush if the 4th flush card hit on river.Better than c/c for those rare times they fold.
