You can peel on the flop for one closing action in that size a pot...But you should be folding preflop.And the turn is crazy. People are often checking here to UTG anticipating his bet, either because they're scared or because they're waiting to checkraise. MP1 is rarely completely full of it here. He peeled on the flop with _something_, and probably would gladly take a free card if he had just a draw.

I don't dislike the preflop call as much as I do the flop call. You are getting 9.5 to 1 with A4.A4 is a drawing hand iwth multi way pot potential.I used to try to get in a lot of multiway pots with hands like these knowing I could create +EV situations for myself postflop.Obviously don't be the fool who creates action when you just hit top pair with it.

My strategy was basically avoid playing in the blinds. Lately I've been more liberal in calling raises from the big blind, especially late po. raisres and to good success so far. I guess i started to get use to that idea...? Variance can be nice sometiems.

OK.There is a "standard" for the lines you want to keep in these games. Its not a bad idea to keep your stats close to these standards.But even at low limits you have to adapt to the table and to how you feel. Sometimes you KNOW you are on your game, you feel instinctive, and you know you are playing very well.Pokertracker can't tell you how you need to play at these times. Don't ever rely too much on the few % points you need to move up and down in the smaller areas. If you feel the way you are playing suits your game and your "feel" of the game, you will probably be a winning player.Way too often players adjust to have "good" PT stats and lose their personal feel of the game.Again, I think PT stats are important. (Especially the Aggression factor stats) but try to avoid using them as a crutch.

I've heard that advice before but it must not have registered. I definitely don't want to tune my game to stats, I just wanted to make a note of my blind play and look for places where my brain says "you're in the big, just fold it" and instead decide if it was playable.
