poker1.com 0
This is a new subject, concerning poker and todays topic is check-raising, when you want to get full value from your hand.Gennerally you should value bet your hands when you believe that the first bettor if going to come from late position, and you should save your check-raises, when you believe that the player closest to your left, is the one that is going to be doing the betting...Another good tequnique to use is to act like you are going to call, when someone is threatening or attempting to bet and you have a good hand, that you intend to call with. This will often induce the bettor to bet his hand, if he is an inexperienced player in an attempt to get you to fold your hand. This is some of my advice for today.Good luck on all of your poker hands today.LatersJohnny SacAlso...A side note it is often good to bet your good hands, when you are in early position, especially the small blind when you either have a good hand or a good drawing hand, because you want to price the other players into the pot, especially the one's in eary position. You want to price them into the pot so they will get good odds [or bad odds(this is even better)] to get into the pot to draw to their longshots, and other hands, that they might holdThat's all for now.GBJ. lvpro 0
You're amazing, and I applaud you sir.I've been lurking around here for months, and posting quite a bit in off-topic.Never once have I flamed. But once I started reading your posts...Well, you've driven me out of my normally docile, friendly state, and you're desperately making me want to flame you.Luckily for you, I'm terrible at it, and therefore won't try. I'll leave it to the professionals.Twice in one day, you've elicited this reaction from me. TWICE.Good day, sir.

Briguy 0
Thank you, Johnny Sac. I used this new concept yesterday for the first time, and had a session that ended up 2BB. I'm no longer going to lose millions, thanks to your sage advice. Also, I really liked Under Siege. Every great actor should take a role as a ninja/spy Red Seal chef. Such a role is more difficult and prestigious than playing Hamlet, I'm told.

looshle 6
Another good tequnique to use is to act like you are going to call, when someone is threatening or attempting to bet and you have a good hand, that you intend to call with. This is probably some of the worst advice I've ever heard.Actling like you are going to call only stops the villian from betting the hands that you can beat. poker1.com 0
-1My message just got erased on this subject, unfortunately it was a good, message, with a nice rap, I wrote at the end of it, but it got erased when I adjusted my keyboard, but I am not wrong about this, by any means...I am totally right about it, because the other players, will think you have a weak hand and not a strong hand, if you threaten a call, because this is what the weak players, do when they have, weak, hand's, think about it and stop thinking you know everything about poker, Tony, cause you don't...I am the one, and Mike, Daniel, and, the other pro's like Jennifer Harmon, Phil Ivey, Phil Hellmuth, and other pro's like Doyle Brunson, Ted Forest, Men "The Master" Ngyuen, and other pro's like. Scotty "The Master" Ngyuen, Greg Raymer, "The aussie who won the world series this year" and Chris Moneymaker...Know all about this and other teqniques, and tell's at the table, that you can use to make a profit, playing poker, so just trust me on this one...If you think you are going to trick the players, by lying about your hands and trying to fool them, you are absolutely wrong about that, because, they do the same pathetic, stuff, and they, can see right though, what you are doing if you try to do stuff like that.So try to threaten a call if you have a good, or above average, hand and they will bet into, you almost everysingle, time...And don't say I am wrong about something with poker becasue I have been studying and playing for what seem's like 1,000,000 year's and I have a lot of experience, when it, come's to the, game of poker...So take this advice, about value betting (betting your hand's for maximum value, btf, otf, ont, onr...Check-Raising for maximum value, and this threatening to make a call...And turn the Soprano's off for a couple of day's and you will be making so much money playing poker, you won't even believe what your making is possible...That's all of the Advice I have for now...Good Luck to You, Sir, and the other players, who post here, and at other Forums...Your, Bud...Johnny Sac / Johnny Cab... ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))Jonathan Jacob Kerr The 1st...)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) looshle 6
Do you have any idea as to how many people have no ****ing clue what they are doing?Nevermind if holding your chips out means you are strong or weak.I could use just the reverse on you and say " well he knows that if i hold my chips out that I am trying to get you to induce you to bet so instead ill act like I'm not going to call"All you are doing is reversing a tell, which will only work on people who know what the tell is.You could just keep going round and round with it and act like its a sophistacted play when its really not. Alot of people have no clue about anything and thinking about it that much is completely pointless. Its like saying "Well im gonna sit back in my chair when I have absoultely nothing"We know what tells are and we know what false tells are. You're trying to tell us that this is a reverse false tell which in fact is just the orginal tell in the first place, you just seem to think that its different becuase you thought of it.You suck and your mother is gay.
