Scott3705 0
Hey guys,Planning a trip to Vegas w/ my wife. Never been. I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on good hotels there. Saw Monte Carlo for only $110/ night. Have no idea if it's good or close to the main strip. (Iassume it is, but i could be wrong)

Looking for best value for 100-125/ night

evesixer 0
harrahs, imperial palace, aladdin are more middle of the strip. which is nice to get around. ive stayed at IP several times and I like it. barbary coast is a cheap place with a good location and we won there! however, when i go back, i would stay on fremont st, better atmoshpere, cheaper meals, etc. also, it is only a 15 bus ride from the strip. be sure to visit the Rio and its show in th sky. google it if you dont know what i am talking about. dont stay there, though its out of the way. close to the strip, but not really walikng distance. DO NOT EAT THE BUFFET AT TEH FLAMINGO, IT REALLY BLOWS. (MGM grand has great expensive buffet, 24.95 or 27.95, but has tons of seafood if you are interested). MGM is also a nice place to stay, but its on on end of the strip. i prefer to be in the middle for easier access, but thats your opinion.

evesixer 0
my husband and i went to the TI show and we were staying at excalibur...we tried catching a bus, decided to "walk to the next stop" and ended up walking all the way back. god, did that suck ass. nothing like getting blisters the last nite of your honeymoon, when you managed to remain unscathed the rest of the trip.
