Preflop: econ_tim is BB with T:heart:, 2:heart:.
1 fold, SB calls, econ_tim calls, MP calls.

Flop: (8 SB) 3:heart:, 8:diamond:, K:heart: (4 players)
SB checks, econ_tim checks, MP bets, MP calls.

Turn: (6 BB) 2:diamond: (2 players)
econ_tim bets, . . .

does this make any sense

Yeah.

That king gotta be a scare card for him if he doesn't hold one. Once it get's HU, it's a good flop c/r. I wouldn't c/r with 1 caller in-between though.

He may fold the turn with a hand like AJ, and if he has a better hand, you have a zillion outs to catch up.

MP wasnt the preflop raiser.

I think mp almost always had Kx here or a hand that has you beat. Its unlikely you're folding a better hand to often.

So no I dont think it makes much sense. The flop check raise doesnt accomplish much and puts you in a tough spot on the turn.

My mistake.

You have no fold equity and no chance at a free card. Check/call the flop. Check/call the turn. Check/fold the river with just a pair of 2's.
