We need to be correct 66% of the time to 3-bet, assuming that he calls with all worse hands and caps only the hands that beat us.Assigning a range to MP3 (given the action thus far) AA, KK, and AQ are his most likely holdings.Of those, we only beat AQ. There are 2 combos of that.AA and KK each have 3 combos.Since we are only about 40% against that range, I think it's best to just call the raise.

Not sure if you guys caught this, but this is the same hand as another one I posted earlier where I had Aces and my opponent turned out to have flopped a set of Queens. I definitely feel he should have just called the river raise instead of 3-betting and was able to make to extra big bets because of how he played it. This hand's just an exercise in putting opponents on hands and not to think you need to always pound the crap outta the pot for value with hands even as strong as a set.

I had a vague feeling it was similar. I just never checked to see how similar. :-)
