AlphaOmega 0
of course.why the post?do you think MP may have been making a move on the river?I'm folding a lot in big pots and I just want to make sure that they are in fact standard, because it seems to coincide with me running really bad. I wanted to see if raising the flop was bad as well. I thought it was likely I could knock MP off of AK or AQ if I could get SB to three-bet it, but then I wondered if it was smart to raise into him in the first place given that he capped from the SB. This is where my read is perhaps misleading because even if he is a stupid overaggro, I highly doubt he'd cap a hand worse than nines from the SB.

I very rarely if ever try that (at least for those reasons). Once people put money in on the flop, they practically commit themselves to seeing the turn.
screech 0
Why did you make the pot so big?Call the flop.On the turn, you may consider raising or calling or folding.Anyway, just don't raise the flop. There is no point.
Guest Zach6668
Anyway, just don't raise the flop. There is no point.I don't get this. The pot is huge already - 3 way cap preflop.Raising can't be that bad in a huge pot. It's all we can do to try and protect our hand here, which could still be the best hand.- Zach

I have no idea.I want to show this hand down if no A or K come up though. I supposed we aren't folding overs by raising, so should we just be calling down? Of course, the river is an easy fold for 2 cold.- Zach
screech 0
I would normally raise the turn.I would fold if MP raised.I would fold if an ace hit.
