I generally lead if there is a draw on board, but I find that if checked to, MP will bet 99% of the time. Would that change your stance on the flop play?What would be your plan from the flop on considering different turn or river cards?I'm always betting again on the turn, and if the draw misses/completes I will usually c/c the river.In this case, since there was no draw, I decided to bet the river. I'd be calling a bet anyway, and I don't think I get many bluffs in this situation since the board is rather drawless.

I like the c/r here as long as you think MP will bet. He could easily be betting with two overs here. I would c/r flop. bet turn and in this case fold to a raise. if i get called on the turn i probably c/c the river.

I don't like the c/r. The pot is small enough that you don't have to face the other player with 2 cold to protect your hand.Like tim said, lead the flop.

Haven't read replies. Everyone hates PF advice, but really... just fold this. If you play it tho, I think I typically just lead the flop and hope they fold. A c/r is not bad though. You might check/call the river depending on the opponent.Jeff

I actually like your play....On the flop, check raise is a good line; leading out is not bad either.The turn, nice bet... alot of people will call a check raise on the flop based on pot odds and to save face.I disagree with the river though. You have shown strength throughout the hand. I don't know if he would fold here with but hands that have you beat. I would prefer the check, call line. He will prob bet so you would get the same money as if you bet. However if he check raises you can't fold and might lose one extra bet. This may seem weak-tight, but what have you narrowed his holdings to? I have to put him on a 9 or maybe a big 8.
