should i have bet out here? maybe even a c/r to get rid of the bb?

Basically i thought i was beind to the capped flop
Ultimate Bet 1/2 Hold'em (6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is SB with J:heart:, K:heart:.
3 folds, BB calls, Button calls.

Flop: (6 SB) 2:spade:, 8:spade:, K:diamond: (3 players)
Hero bets, Hero calls, BB calls.

Turn: (9 BB) T:heart: (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, Button bets, Hero calls, BB calls.

River: (12 BB) 6:diamond: (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, Button bets, Hero calls, BB calls.

Final Pot: 15 BB

I don't like trying to protect hands that are best only around 10% of the time.

The main reason for c/ring the turn is to charge BB for his flush draw. His only other likely holding is a weaker K, which you don't have to protect against because he only has 3 outs.

i was too confident of my hand hence the rather passive play on the turn and river. Anyone for leading on the turn?

I don't see what that accomplishes unless you plan to fold to a raise.

what if he is on a flush draw?
I agree that it seemed unlikely and i thought i was behind, hence me c/c.

players at 1/2 generally won't cap with a flush draw
