I remember playing at the Seneca Niagra Casino in Buffalo a while back, and i was playing that always fun 1-2NL they have going on there..well, I had about 200$ worth in chips down from $25 which i was very pleased about and well, you know how they serve unlimited free alcohol there so, I was hammered out of my mind!, I think I had like 15 whiskey sours in me and some number of beers. So anyways, I was playing this one hand, I had a king of diamonds & another card that was a diamond and I called to see the flop. flop comes out with a flush draw for me. I bet out, this one guy (the only guy left), calls me. Turn comes out = useless card. I bet out, guy calls me. Now i'm thinking, what does this guy have? there IS a ace on board, So i'm thinking, actually I dont know what i'm thinking cause i was out of my mind at the time. RIver comes out a diamond (which I didn't realize at the time, i swear) and I check (thinking that I didn't hit anything), and the guy bets out like quarter of his stack. I fold.My boy was behind me repeatly saying, "you idiot!, you idiot!". the guy who beat me showed me his single pair of aces, which just added to the shit feeling I had and ruining my buzz. This happend to me not once, but twice, once at Port Perry, which I dont want to talk about cause right now that feeling is coming back and it feels like crap. thank you. :D Lesson learned here folks: "never get too drunk when playing poker, it just increases the weakness in your game. And always, always, always look at your hand and the board before you muck it away![/b]

I got REAL hammered in Vegas last year playing 2/4 limit HE, but I had the opposite happen to me. I was calling hands pre-flop, for a while, that I never would. Like Q7o and 34o. Both times I hit a full house. It was quite funny. (Well, to me. The rest of the table thought I sold my sol to the devil.) It was just one of those runs where I could have played anything and won.How is Seneca Niagra?? I was thinking of making a trip up there sometime soon, but don't know anyone that has been there.

it's pretty sweet there, i'll tell you what they got.2-4Limit, 5-10limit,10-20limit,20-40limit,1-2 no limit, 5-10 no limit, 7 card stud, and omahait's a pretty sick poker room actually and they hold like 40$ tournaments that leads to the wsop/wpt.
