Royal_Tour 0
Out of curiosity, who plays online poker as their sole income for living expenses? Or at least, Online as the majority, and perhaps a few trips to the B&M.Also, For those who do, how long have you been doing it, and what limits are you playing?

DDiabolical 0
I suppose I sort of have for the last year or so, but November is when I decided to do it seriously and actually build up a working bankroll.Primarily play $100NL and $170NL now, I make about double what I would make in a regular job with my age/work experience etc.Plan on continuing until September when I go to uni, and then hopefully it'll allow me to pay my way through uni.Poker is just a short term thing for me, I won't make my living from it in the future, I'm just riding the wave for as long as it lasts. Big_Slick_86 0
Does anyone remember that guy who quit working in a fast food restaurant to play online.I think he said he was earning around $5 an hour but figured he could make 7 playing online, I was wondering what happened to him.I think he posted it around October last year. PimpRock 0
I do and have done exclusively since last July...I play 1/2 NL and mix it up with some tourneys (MTT and STT) and when I am really bored... Omaha. Although that game is really growing on me and seems incredibly soft. I quit teaching at the end of last year because my poker income superceded my teaching income and was a lot less demanding.

NOFX_PUNK 0
I'm not doing it for a living really as I am a student, I do, however supplement my income substantially with online poker and home games, I play a couple of hours a day at cash tables, I was on £25 max NL but took a substantial win last night so might move to £50 max, usually manage to double or triple a full buy in with a few hours play, plus I get pay to play bonuses. Also on a side note, rakeback for Willhill, does it exist? Although you could still be above your roll, it's like 250-300 BBs for limit rite? you need like 5-600 to play at 1/2 alone?
PhilHellmuth 0
i play. [the real me, not 'phil']i'm living pretty cheap for now tho. i mix between 6-8 tabling limits betw 2-4 and 5-10, and playing stt's and mtt's usually $20 and $30 buy in. i've only been doin it for a few months, and am pushing off figuring out what will be with taxes. my earnings for the year will probably not exceed 20k, but will not be far short of that. acc to my estimates if i played full time i'd make around 30k for the year. MikeR 0
Unlike most of the others I actually play online tournies for a living. I play the freeroll circuit mostly on Fulltilt and Empire. I average 23 cents a week which doesn't sound like a lot, but like the regulars on the freeroll circuit say, "It adds up over time.".
