Do you guys like play differently towards a player who is on a (hot/cold) streak?

Yes. Players on hot streaks appear to be better and players on cold streets appear to be weaker. Because of this, I tend to unintentially adjust my game. I suppose you could also try to exploit tilting tendencies. Players who are winning or losing large amounts tend to play more loosely than usual and you could alter your postflop play to reflect that.

No. Playing differently because someone is on a streak is superstitious, and if the decisions you make are not optimal, it will cost you.

No, unless I have a specific read that player X plays looser on a win streak or whatever.

It depends on how abouts they got on their streak....If they just keep chasing 4 high flush draws blindly, I'll continue to attack in hopes that the percentages will get back into my favor. I'll even do my best to isolate with hands like K9s in position in hopes of getting them one on one and making them pay for their mistakes.NOW, if I see a player who is on a streak but also playing aggressively well (i.e. raising on good draws, jamming the pot correctly with solid starting hands, raising drawing hands for value pre-flop and playing them accordingly), then I'll adjust my game and only come after those players with the most premium of hands.It's all about player profiling and recognition.

Thanks for the comments guys, I know one guy I was playing last night, who every hand i'd lose, I was wondering if I was wrong in playing my aggressive style since I noticed he was on a hot streak

most people say it doesn't matter, but an being on a hot or cold streak will affect the play of an average player, and if you pay careful attention can take advantage of itfor example, some players on a hot streak start playing too many hands. players on a cold streak start folding too many marginal hands.don't adjust your play just because someone is running good or bad. but if you notice that their luck is affecting their game, change up your play to make the most of it.
