I was just playing on PStars and got made fun of for how I played this hand keep in mind that it is 6max and the opponent was a fairly tight aggresive agressive player. I have my thoughts on how well i played it but ill reserve those till later.PokerStars 5/10 Hold'em (5 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cxPreflop: Hero is BB with 5:club:, 5:spade:. 2 folds, Hero calls.Flop: (4.40 SB) T:spade:, 5:diamond:, J:club: (2 players)Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls.Turn: (3.20 BB) 6:diamond: (2 players)Hero checks, Button checks.River: (3.20 BB) A:diamond: (2 players)Hero bets, Hero calls.Final Pot: 11.20 BB

better line:Bet/call flopBet/go nuts on turn.Stop n Go!the c/c flopc/r turn line will get folds more (not really what we're after) but the worst part is sometime Villan checks behind, as we see.edit to say:"crap" is strong, because I'm sure you were gonig for the c/r.It's a great hand to show why that is not a good idea..Even TAA's check behind sometimes.Maybe others will say it's worth riskI just love me some SnG with set's OOP

I'd 3bet PF.  As you played it I'd c/r the flop and keep my mouse on the raise button.River is fine.  You're good way more than 2/3 of the time after he raises.
why c/r flop?why slow him down?
He'll autobet the flop, giving us at least an SB no matter what.If he has a gutshot or something, he'll have to pay us more.I'm not seeing how a c/r flop is slowing him down any more than a double bet/call. If he has enough of a peice to raise a stop n go'd turn, he'd 3bet the flop anyway. So a stop n go vs that range would net you at most 1 BB more, but it's actually closer to 0 since he can fold lots of hands to a turn 3-bet but not to a flop cap. I think.Compare that to all the times he just folds the flop when you lead.

if he auto bets, he auto raises.if he folds to a flop lead then he either checks behind or folds turn UI anyway.the SnG looks lke a dumb (us) donk on flop and he raises (as noted, he raises here with just about any hand he bets)the Turn lead out, may fold him, but again, if not, he often checks anyway.you seem to think he folds hands we lead out, but would pay off a c/r?

I like this line against a TAG. I also like a bet-3-bet line, or a c/r lead line, or anything besides what you did. You really played this one bad. It's six-max, you will get action on this board, why not take it?
