I played about 300 hands at .5/.10 today and made about 80/bb here are some of the more interesting handsfirst, ill display one that i played absolutely horribly. (I remember that I was talking to FCP's own Smasharoo at another table during this hand. So I blame him.)---------------------------*** HOLE CARDS ***Dealt to SlippyJacks [8h 8c]RaiZa: folds BClap: folds Enigma84: folds Scoutbake: folds loco90: folds Bull Buffalo: folds blackcollar: folds SlippyJacks: calls $0.03bpnoni: checks I complete in the SB with 8-8. So far ok.*** FLOP *** [Kd 8d Tc]SlippyJacks: checks bpnoni: checks I slowplay a flopped set heads up. What am I doing? Don't try this at home.*** TURN *** [Kd 8d Tc] [Jd]SlippyJacks: bets $0.10bpnoni: calls $0.10Oh the flush comes and NOW I bet. I am 99% sure I have the best hand here. The only think I guess that worries me is JK, which most people raise with at these low limit tables.*** TURN *** [4c Jh 8d] [7h]loco90: checks I W Y: checks SlippyJacks: bets $0.10loco90: calls $0.10I W Y: folds Still looks fine.*** RIVER *** [4c Jh 8d 7h] [Ts]loco90: bets $0.10SlippyJacks: calls $0.10I will not show the results to this one in order to ask, should I raise or just call this river? Just call SEEMS right, but what kind of nine could he be holding?-----------------------------I played this one a little bit funky, but ok.*** HOLE CARDS ***Dealt to SlippyJacks [Jc Ad]thecandle: folds blackcollar: folds SlippyJacks: raises $0.05 to $0.10bpnoni: calls $0.10RaiZa: calls $0.10OdiN.ATG: folds BClap: folds Enigma84: calls $0.08Scoutbake: raises $0.05 to $0.15SlippyJacks: calls $0.05bpnoni: calls $0.05RaiZa: calls $0.05Enigma84: calls $0.05I don't mind the raise with AJ off in EP. Because I am gonna call a two-bet with it anyway. Or a three bet in this case.*** FLOP *** [Ac 3h 5d]Enigma84: checks Scoutbake: bets $0.05SlippyJacks: calls $0.05bpnoni: folds RaiZa: folds Enigma84: calls $0.05Should I raise or just call because of AK and AQ?*** TURN *** [Ac 3h 5d] [Qd]Enigma84: checks Scoutbake: bets $0.10SlippyJacks: calls $0.10Enigma84: calls $0.10Starting to think Scout has AK or AQ. *** RIVER *** [Ac 3h 5d Qd] [6h]Enigma84: checks Scoutbake: checks SlippyJacks: bets $0.10Enigma84: calls $0.10Scoutbake: calls $0.10Weird? Did I play this one too slow?------------------------------Here is one of the oddest hands I have seen in a while.*** HOLE CARDS ***Dealt to SlippyJacks [Ac Kc]bpnoni: calls $0.05pgamez21: calls $0.05OdiN.ATG: folds BClap: folds Enigma84: folds Scoutbake: folds loco90: folds thecandle: folds blackcollar: raises $0.05 to $0.10SlippyJacks: raises $0.05 to $0.15bpnoni: calls $0.10pgamez21: calls $0.10blackcollar: raises $0.05 to $0.20Betting is cappedSlippyJacks: calls $0.05bpnoni: calls $0.05pgamez21: calls $0.05Bet raise cap with AK suited. Four to the flop.*** FLOP *** [6c 4s 5d]blackcollar: bets $0.05SlippyJacks: raises $0.05 to $0.10bpnoni: calls $0.10pgamez21: calls $0.10blackcollar: folds I am faking strength here it's doubtful anyone is strong at this point, and if they are, they come over the top of me here. The original bettor folds, which is an odd laydown, and the other two just call. I am thinking then that AK might even be holding up right now. Any overpair would probably raise me here.*** TURN *** [6c 4s 5d] [Tc]SlippyJacks: bets $0.10bpnoni: calls $0.10pgamez21: calls $0.01 and is all-inProbably a bad bet here on the turn. But pgamez is committed and bpnoni is an idiot, so I guess him being in the pot was rubbing off on me.*** RIVER *** [6c 4s 5d Tc] [Qd]SlippyJacks: checks bpnoni: checks I'm telling you, this guy had no sense. (BTW, I might have folded a bet here, even with the pot odds. But until the queen, I felt I was good.)*** SHOW DOWN ***SlippyJacks: shows [Ac Kc] (high card Ace)bpnoni: mucks handSlippyJacks collected $0.18 from side potpgamez21: shows [Ah 2c] (high card Ace - lower kicker)SlippyJacks collected $1.18 from main potWow.

Ouch, that first hand hurts, you won't slowplay a flopped set again, now will you?Second hand is funny. I have given up putting the jokers on hands in the micro-limit holdem tables, honestly, if the guy held around that long for the ten for the straight then more power to him. Actually, come to think of it, he may just have 2 pair in which case you are owned, possibly JackT?, those micro limit players love that hand. All in all, with 4 to the straight and the guy coming out an betting on the river, I think it is just better to call it down.Raise this flop on the third hand, its better to find out now how good your ace is rather than wait for the turn to find out you are behind. After you probably get called on the flop when you raise, you can be safe to just check/call or call it down. I put him on a better Ace also, until that damn river where he check/calls, again, I have stopped putting these jokers on hands.I am speachless as you are on that last hand, it seems like these micro-limit players are just breaking their necks to give away their money.

Nah, I'm up writing. Got to pay the bills sometime. Just taking a short break. If I start playing O8 it'll be a long break then I'll have to write more tommorow, and probably miss a deadline, and then it'll be harder to get my next advance, and I'll end up penniless and insane begging for change at the chess tables at Au Bon Pain in Harvard Square while I watch someone else move into my house which I had to sell. All because I played O8 with you.You don't want that on your concience.
