rog 0
Didn't want to hi-jack Shake's thread. So, I'm thinking of buying a decent set of clay chips. I want ones with no denominations on them for flexibility. I'm thinking of pokerchips.com's solid color chips with or without edge spots...haven't decided. The question I have is how many of what colors should I get for my purposes. I'll be playing mostly 10 player SNGs. Would like to be able to do 1k or 1.5k starting stacks for 10 from a 500 chip set if possible. I'd also like to be able to play .25/.50 and .5/1 blind limit and no-limit games. The tricky bit is, some of my friends play in casinos, and can be a bit picky about using colors as standard values. I dont play casinos, so I have no idea about standard values, but would like to accomodate if possible. What should I order in a 500 chip set to cover my needs?

Bill_Brasky 0
Just buy regular clay chips and write the value on them with magic marker. If you really want to save some money you can do like me and just make your chips out of duct tape and dirt.
