playing with top set on flop with three suited cards

How do you play say jj when say j 7 2 of spades hits the flop? I have been killed in the situation several times. Do you lay down or die with the hand hoping to fill up or better yet get quads.

I was referring to no limit in tourment play not a ring game if that changes your answer

More information would be nice. How many people seeing the flop?Are you in late position, or early?etc.Going with just "hit a set on a board with three of a suit", I would say make a pot-size bet and fold it a raise.
