AshleyC 0
I played in a live tournament yesterday, 5k starting chips, 45 min clock. £350 buy in ($600).Table was very loose, playing trash hands IMO and so I was waiting for a big hand to trap. Towards the end of level 1, blinds 25-50 it was folded to me in the cut-off (unusual) and the blinds were actually two of the tighter players at the table. I had KTo. I raised to 200. SB called, BB folded.Flop: TJQ rainbow. SB checked, I thought that this was a good flop to make a continuation bet on, but given my draw should I have checked? I bet 300 and was called. Turn: 8SB checked, I bet 500 and was raised to 1k. Fold, call or raise? Should I have checked behind on the turn or was firing a second bulet with pair and decent draw ok? Footballguru 0
fold and move on. All ur plays were fine, turn bet was debateale -what would he call the flop then fold the turn with?
copernicus 0
I dont like the turn bet at all. The 8 could have filled the bottom end of the straight for him, and you would love to fill yours and take all his chips. This is a perfect example of "if you can close out the betting, dont raise if you'll hate a reraise".
