All, playing 2-table $10+$1 SNG on Party. Final 2 players, I have 11,000 chips he has 9,000.Here is the hand:Blinds 300-600I'm dealt QQ in the SB, I call (I didn't raise here like I normally would as I wanted to mix it up on this hand. I'd been raising his blind 70% of the time.)BB checks.Flop: Ad, 5d, QdI check, he goes all in for 8,400. Would you call? Why or why not?

If he had hit a respectable flush, i.e. he was holding Kx of diamonds, he's more likely to try to trap. The only way I can see a player pushing with a made flush on the flop is if he has hit a baby flush and doesn't want to see any more diamonds come out. Here are the other hands I could see an average player pushing with:Kd/x on a semi-bluff.55AT or higher, top two-pair, or perhaps even Ax if x is a diamond. Psychologically, the flush out acts like a security blanket, making some players forget that the numerical value of their crappy kickers. He could be protecting AA, but if that were the case, I'd call and tip my hat.I'm most fearful of the baby flush -- after all, he got a free flop. But even if had, assuming he doesn't have any of your outs, you've got 7 chances to improve your hand on the turn. After the turn card, you have potentially 3 additional outs. The bottom line is many players would push in this situation with hands that you have beat. With a lot of sit-n-go players, any pair and a diamond will do. I'd call.

Oh and incidentally, I'd let it go. No raises up front from him means he could have anything. Being in with 10 outs against a push here from 26d and losing isn't much fun. If you're sick of playing the thing, call. I think it's probably 60/40 you're ahead, not sure if that's good enough to call this.

I calledhe turned over Jd, 5s...bottom pair with flush draw...he missed his flush and I wonMy thought process was similiar with the above poster. I thought if he had K or even Q high flush he would've tried to trap.I agree with Smash that a made low flush would have made a similiar play so I was a little concerned. But, I'm generally a stats guy so I figured if he already flopped the flush (I think it's 100 - 1) more power to him. Or if had trip A's more power to him.I figured I was ahead (60/40) or way ahead most of the time.Again thanks for all the input! I really enjoy the forum and the valuable advice you guys provide.Regards,
