In NL holdem I usually go in by raising preflop..when I do raise and see a flop I usually take a stab at it ,, say I raise 2 dlrs when the BigBlind is .50 and I get 2 callers the pot is now about 6.25 or so..I take a 4 dlr stab at the pot. I find that maybe 50% of the money that I win comes out of those little pots I'm taking. But I also figured out that %90 of the money I lose comes from bluffing after I get my $4 dlrs called on the flop. Is it wrong to take stabs at every pot where you are the raiser? Should I stop my bluff if I get called on the flop? but wont that show weakness and encourage people to raise my bets on the flop with weaker hands? I would like to recieve some advice because I noticed that if it wasnt for my maniacal bets I wouldnt lose as much (but I also dont know if I would win as much because people are giving me more action) help! please!

Don't bet every pot. People will realize you're bluffing and most of the time you don't catch anything. Mix it up. Learn your opponents and bet on flops you think they didn't hit. It takes a lot of practice.
