I brought in $15 to the table and played ~200 hands. Ended up with 19.25, not an amazingly profitable session, but not bad either. Here are a few hands you might want to discuss.------------------PokerStars Game #1253446547: Hold'em Limit ($0.25/$0.50) - 2005/02/22 -09:11:07 (ET)Table 'Buryatia' Seat #2 is the buttonSeat 1: nelijo11 ($8 in chips) Seat 2: bull7272 ($8.90 in chips) Seat 3: Mopsie ($14.90 in chips) Seat 4: SlippyJacks ($15.60 in chips) Seat 5: T&J's Mom ($18.25 in chips) Seat 7: BPV3 ($16.95 in chips) Seat 8: Kiowa05 ($4.40 in chips) Seat 9: snacher ($9.75 in chips) Seat 10: LPW13 ($53.55 in chips) Mopsie: posts small blind $0.10SlippyJacks: posts big blind $0.25netnode: sits out nelijo11: posts big blind $0.25*** HOLE CARDS ***Dealt to SlippyJacks [Qc Jd]T&J's Mom: folds BPV3: calls $0.25Kiowa05: folds snacher: calls $0.25LPW13: raises $0.25 to $0.50nelijo11: folds bull7272: folds Mopsie: folds SlippyJacks: calls $0.25BPV3: calls $0.25snacher: calls $0.25Sometimes I will put on the brakes with QJ off, but I feel like I should defend my big blind here with four players to the flop.*** FLOP *** [9s Tc 8s]SlippyJacks: bets $0.25BPV3: calls $0.25snacher: calls $0.25LPW13: raises $0.25 to $0.50SlippyJacks: raises $0.25 to $0.75BPV3: folds snacher: calls $0.50LPW13: calls $0.25Something warm and cozy and flopping the hard nuts. Duh.*** TURN *** [9s Tc 8s] [3h]SlippyJacks: bets $0.50snacher: calls $0.50LPW13: calls $0.50I feel a check here would be a free card for them both.*** RIVER *** [9s Tc 8s 3h] [2s]SlippyJacks: bets $0.50snacher: calls $0.50LPW13: folds Scare card, but have to bet/call a raise here with my investment.--------------------------Table 'Buryatia' Seat #7 is the buttonSeat 1: Wizzard711 ($10 in chips) Seat 2: bull7272 ($8.90 in chips) Seat 3: Mopsie ($17.05 in chips) Seat 4: SlippyJacks ($19.10 in chips) Seat 5: T&J's Mom ($17.90 in chips) Seat 6: netnode ($4.65 in chips) Seat 7: allinbluff35 ($3 in chips) Seat 8: Kiowa05 ($3.40 in chips) Seat 9: snacher ($9.10 in chips) Seat 10: LPW13 ($53.55 in chips) Kiowa05: posts small blind $0.10snacher: posts big blind $0.25Wizzard711: posts big blind $0.25*** HOLE CARDS ***Dealt to SlippyJacks [As 5s]LPW13: folds Wizzard711: checks bull7272: folds Mopsie: folds SlippyJacks: calls $0.25T&J's Mom: folds SlippyJacks said, "what do you usually play"netnode: folds allinbluff35: folds Kiowa05: folds snacher: raises $0.25 to $0.50Wizzard711: folds SlippyJacks: calls $0.25I know, muck A5 suited to a raise, but this particular player was playing most starting hands, and I felt I had a good feel for him, so I defended BB and got heads up with what I was pretty sure was the best hand pre-flop.*** FLOP *** [7d 3c 5c]snacher: bets $0.25SlippyJacks: raises $0.25 to $0.50snacher: calls $0.25I like being aggressive here (only would do this heads-up) to see where I'm at. thats what yoiu get for playing against allinbluff.Cap it cap it cap it cap it cap it
Suddenly I turned around
And she was standin' there
With silver bracelets on her wrists
And flowers in her hair.
She walked up to me so gracefully
And took my crown of thorns.
"Come in," she said,
"I'll give you shelter from the storm."

I know I have the best hand on the flop, but China decided to call me with $409759765 in the pot. JJ is the hand that will break you. I play NL exclusively because I suck at limit holdem and cant gather the concepts together in my head. With that said I'm used to raising with AQ with multiple people in the pot and the other fun hands like that. My question is how did you know that you had the best hand after the flop? Any person in the hand could have 1010,66,44,QQ,KK, or AA. Half of those hands you are drawing to runner runner and other 3 you are drawing to 1 of 2 outs. Maybe I don't understand concepts of limit holdem very well but you could have been easily dominated on the flop.

The hands I had to worry about with the capped action before the flop were AA, KK, and QQ.So when the flop got checked around to me, I was pretty sure JJ was the best hand at that moment (and it was)

yah definately you are right with thinking that you have the best hand, I didn't even realize that it was checked around. But one of those sneaky bastards could have been slowplaying and checkraise you like they did to me :D .

I've never played poker.
