RISEorFall 0 Posted February 1, 2006 Share Posted February 1, 2006 FCP, 10 handed, no reads RISE is MP3 with A 10 PF: 2 folds, UTG+2 calls, 2 folds, RISE raises, 2 folds, SB calls, BB calls, UTG+2 callsFlop: (8 SB) 2 2 4 SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, RISE bets, SB calls, BB calls, UTG foldsTurn:(5.5 BB)2 SB checks, BB bets, RISE...the blinds had been playing rather tight. I dont imagine this is a 4 and i think i wouldve heard from a pocket pair before now. ideas? Link to post Share on other sites

It's a relatively small pot and a raise, or call, call will cost you some bets which I don't believe justify the risk reward ratio of the pot, seeing as the players that are still in the pot are the most likely to have a made boat, or even quads. Also a small pocket pair giving a boat is a likely holding for a player in the blinds calling a pre-flop raise in my experience. Link to post Share on other sites
