checkraise05 0
my friends and i play home games at least 3 to 5 or 6 times a week and they are disgusting games...$20 to $60 buy in, .50 - 1.00 blinds nl hold em and there's usually more action than you can imagine. basically people try and see if they can win going to the flop with the worst hand. it's like a game of worse to first every hand...and im as guilty as anyone. i know this is not good poker, i just seem to get so bored sometimes and always begin to play worse and worse hands. i'm blabbering on now, but if anyone gets this far, let me know how i can keep myself from playing so loose and bad at home games with friends, eventhough i'm a pretty good player?help?!?! dEv~ 19
You pretty much said it yourself. Play less hands...it a wild game it pays to be patient and wait for a hand. If they are as bad as you say you normally can get paid off nicely when you make one. As for tips for being patient...i dunno...listen to music, play with a rubix cube...whatever. Royal_Tour 0
I play in cash games like that all the time.except ours are a bit more pricey, i play with guys older than me for usually a 200 buy in, unlimited reloads, they go to town.so my advice is only play that way if u can afford it.
